November 30, 2018 - The Guardian’s recent bombshell report alleging secret meetings with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange during Trump’s presidential campaign may have been fake news. Because on top of Manafort’s denial and Assange’s insistence that the story is a hoax, the Guardian itself edited the piece mere hours after publication, weakening its language and qualifying its claims.
